Vāk is a small Windows utility built around one idea: speak a thought and have it appear where you’re already typing.
One focused job, done simply.
Vāk is designed as a control panel for voice dictation, not a chatbot or a separate writing destination. The global hotkey lets you start a short dictation session from another app; Vāk transcribes audio locally and inserts the resulting text at the cursor.
The first version focuses on English dictation for Windows. The goal is to make speaking into text feel like a natural extension of the keyboard.
